Working closely with the customer taking into account sizing and personal tastes the end result was this lovely get around town bicycle. A nice upright position and 26" wheels insure a stable and confident ride. Built with loads of character and attention to detail using high quality tubes and Paragon track drops. The drop- outs facilitate the Shimano Nexus internal geared hub installation and removal. Keeping the frame clean and uncluttered a rear coaster brake is used and in the front a drum brake was selected for it's stopping power and low maintenance requirements. No brake grit or grime will foul up this wonderful yellow color selection. Neither will wet roads with River City Cycles beautifully handcrafted wood fenders. A comfortable saddle, beach style bars and a rack complete the vision. Eight speeds, no fuss or equipment hassles just a practical bicycle with a some style.

Side note: This bicycle was built for a friend and neighbor not far from Chris' old shop space. This was located in Danvers Ma. where, in november 2006, there was a huge explosion. The house this bike was in had been knocked off it's foundation. Inside under some debris was the bike no worse for wear. The owner wasn't damaged either, she slept through the whole event only to be awoken by her very distressed dog!
